With Tokyo Game Show going down this week, we got a metric ton of trailers for handhelds – Vita especially. But this being the Tokyo Game Show, you may have to bear with most of the trailers being in Japanese this week.
Dragonball Z: Battle of Z was probably the most blood-pumping trailer I’ve seen in a while, but despite really wanting to like this game, I am holding back on being totally excited for it until I see a bit more of the actual gameplay. Final Fantasy X / X-s HD Remaster is looking better every time I see it and I can’t wait to play though one of my favorite RPGs again. But I can only look on jealously at Monster Hunter Frontier G which in all likelihood is never going to come stateside.
I was happy to see so much new stuff being heaped upon Theatrythm Final Fantasy: Curtain Call, and am feeling confident this will be a lot more than just new songs with the same systems as before. I found the original to be a little too easy to this trained rhythm game professional, but with the curve balls this one is bringing, that doesn’t look like it’ll be a problem here.
