I realized after the fact that I forgot to bring up some great iPhone remakes of classic games. We’ll make a separate episode just for that in the future, I think.

All right, gave this one a listen at work with all the others. I have to admit, in my opinion, this one was the “worst” so far, and here’s why: the discussion, the humor, the opinions were all still fresh and enjoyable, and the content wasn’t bad either, but about a half hour in, I found myself wondering, “Why aren’t they talking about remakes yet, wasn’t that the title of the podcast?” And this feeling went on for another half hour. My problem isn’t the banter, my problem isn’t the tangents, it’s simply that there were too much of them, and it heavily overshadowed the main topic of the podcast, which was remakes! I feel like the previous episodes didn’t suffer from this problem though, so this one might just be a fluke? At any rate, I definitely didn’t mind a longer episode, I just think that maybe the structure for the longer ones could be reworked so that maybe the main topic is addressed first, and then slip into the banter so at least we know that the topic has been covered and finished.
With that bit of “critique” out of the way, I’m gonna save the actual commentary for another post here lol. Took some notes while I was listening at work and didn’t want them lost in this para here. I did still enjoy the podcast. Don’t think I’m hating or anything!

Thanks for the feedback! I really appreciate it as this is the kind of stuff that helps us make the show awesomer.
When I found a way to make our shows a little longer, I wasn’t sure if people wanted to hear more of the general news/what we’re playing kind of stuff, or more of the discussion topic. Maybe next episode we’ll focus more on the topic.
How does that sound to the rest of you? Or did you mates prefer it the way we did this episode?

I was ok with the extra stuff on the news and what you guys are playing. It isn’t uninteresting stuff. Just could be more balanced imo. Still loving the podcast. :)
